A Festive Feast on the Polar Express at Oxclose

Today at Oxclose, we experienced a truly magical lunchtime that transported us straight into the heart of Christmas! Our Polar Express-themed lunch was a celebration of festive spirit, bringing together delicious food, joyful music, and plenty of cheer.

As soon as you walked in, the atmosphere was alive with the sound of Christmas classics playing in the background, creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. The decorations and theme added an extra sparkle, making it feel like a special occasion.

The menu was nothing short of spectacular. Students enjoyed traditional turkey with all the trimmings, rich and flavorful gammon with all the trimmings, and for those seeking a vegetarian option, a delightful chestnut seed roast served with sticky fig relish that captured the essence of the season.

And of course, no Christmas meal is complete without dessert! To finish off the feast, there was sticky toffee pudding with custard, sweet and comforting, alongside the classic traditional Christmas pudding with custard, a timeless favourite that truly embodies the holiday spirit.

The event was more than just a meal; it was a moment of togetherness and joy. It brought the Christmas spirit to Oxclose in the most delicious way possible, and judging by the smiles all around, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. A massive thank you to all of the kitchen staff who went above and beyond.
