Transition
We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Oxclose Community Academy and to help you get ready for the secondary phase.
Introduction
At Oxclose Community Academy, we take pride in providing a welcoming and inspiring environment where every student is valued. Our inclusive community celebrates diversity, encourages active engagement and ensures that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. With a curriculum that is expansive, creative and ambitious, students are supported to develop a genuine passion for learning from the moment they join us.
We believe education is transformative, extending beyond the classroom through a rich variety of extracurricular activities, enrichment opportunities and experiences that complement our academic curriculum. Our dedicated and experienced staff work closely with every student, providing guidance, encouragement and high expectations to help them grow into confident, responsible and empowered individuals.
Oxclose Community Academy is a high-achieving school where students feel safe, supported and challenged in every lesson. As a thriving community school, we are committed to delivering a world-class learning experience, preparing pupils not only for academic success but for life beyond school. We look forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students and supporting them as they begin this exciting journey.
Meet The Team
Transition Days
As part of the Year 6 to Year 7 transition process, we hold dedicated transition days to give pupils the opportunity to experience life at Oxclose Community Academy before starting in September. These days allow students to familiarise themselves with the school building, meet key staff, take part in lessons and spend time with their new classmates.
For September 2026 starters, our transition days will be announced soon.
